Honor Your Mother
Matt 27:55 Moms many times give without reward or recognition! Who else heals a boo-boo with a kiss? Who else is at once a disciplinarian; a therapist; a doctor; a nurse; cook; housekeeper; confidant; counselor; seamstress; teacher; friend; banker; wife; worker; and too many times a father?!? We should honor Moms for more than just one day a year. Moms should be honored 24 hours a day; 7 days a week; 365 days of the year! Robert Browning, an English Poet, wrote, Motherhood: all love begins and ends there! Roy Croft, a Pseudonym, is often quoted as having written a poem entitled "Love." It starts with the sentence: "I love you not only for what you are but for what I am when I am with you." Mothers are always wise as they are practical! Godly Moms and Godly women are always watching us......keeping an eye on those they love....to protect them; provide for them; teach them; guide them; intervene and intercede for them. Take time in prayer today and just thank God for your Mom and Godly women in your life.
